Trail Otter Hiking Club's Hiked 'Em All Challenge

Knock off the third section of the Finger Lakes Trail on Letchworth's east side.

Meeting Location: Finger Lakes Access D location.  From Mt. Morris, take Rt. 408 South and turn right onto River Road.  Once trees appear next to the road on the right hand side, park at the Access D sign.  We will carpool to the FLT Access E and hike back to Access D.

Required:  Headlamp
Rating: Moderate for gully drops
Length: 4.5 miles
Elevation: Mostly flat with gully drops to traverse and some elevation.   
Direction: Directly north from Access E to Access D.

Cost: $5/person or Discount Card
Maximum participants: 20 (park restriction)
Minimum age: 13+
Dogs allowed: No

Bailouts: Unfortunately there are no bailout locations on this hike.

Arrive 10 minutes before hike begins to sign waiver form and prompt start.  This is a long hike and we'll be starting promptly at 6:30pm.

Recommended: Permethrin tick spray for boots/clothing, hiking poles, daypack with lots of water, snacks and electrolytes. Small first aid kit with moleskin and painkiller of choice. EpiPen if needed. Hat, sunglasses, and as the song goes: don't forget the sunscreen.  

All Trail Otter hikes are rain or shine. If event is canceled due to weather, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a refund.

Long trails will be offered in May/June & September/October to complete without summer's heat.
