Meeting Place: Trailside Lodge, across the parking lot from Humphrey Nature Center. If you're not familiar with the park, meet us at the Castile Entrance by 5:45pm and we will escort you to the lodge.

Duration: Dinner ~1 hour, Hike 1.5-2.5 hours

Bring: Dish to share (for 8 people), headlamp, warm layered clothing.

MICROSpikes recommended if light snow or ice. We'll have them to rent for $10 if you don't have a pair. Snowshoes if snow is 6+ inches or deeper, and are $20 to rent. Headlamps also available to rent for $10. All rental prices can be applied to purchase same day as rental.

Please leave home: Alcohol (prohibited in the park without a permit), pets (darkness, slippery conditions)

Trailside Lodge Potluck Dinner & Nighttime Hike (yes, bring a headlamp!)

Join the Trail Otter Gang Friday night at Trailside Lodge for a pot luck communal dinner by firelight and a fun hike afterwards. Bring a main, dessert, a bag of chips or something to drink, along with your own dishware & utensils. We'll enjoy catching up with old friends and make new ones.

After dinner we'll take a hike to close by attractions and trails. Feel the power of Middle Falls as it's awashed in light, hike up the closed road to the railroad bridge, catch the views from Inspiration Point or the magic of Lower Falls. Hope you can join us!

In order to make this as Zero Waste as possible, please bring your own dishware and utensils. And don't forget your headlamp!
